We welcome you to dine at our cozy tables and let our friendly staff serve you. A special handmade lamp out of corks is above each table and shines down on multi colored table coverings. Caliente Latin music is playing in the background to bring you a complete unique dining experience!
Enjoy delicious authentic Mexican Cuisine in a wide variety of freshly made dishes including many vegetarian selections. Our children’s menu sports burritos and tacos in addition to American favorites such as macaroni & cheese, chicken fingers and hot dogs served in a tortilla instead of a bun! We offer 10 varieties of fruity Jarritos Mexican soda (no high fructose corn syrup please!), frosty cold Dos Equis on tap, extraordinary Margaritas and Walt’s own famous Sangria recipe to quench your thirst after an enjoyable day outdoors in the woods or on the lake. If your palate prefers wine, we offer a selection of Mexican, Argentine, New York and California varietals.
Relax in our colorful and festive dining rooms combining purely Adirondack charm with festive Mexican décor. Our knotty pine walls are decorated with brightly colored sombreros, family photos, local old time photos and desert landscape oil paintings depicting sunrise, duck and evening. 50 year old animal mounts of local wildlife such as mink, pine martin, fisher, beaver, coyote, deer and our famous “horny” bobcat adorn the walls in addition to Mexican pottery, straw figures and other Mexican artistry.
The largest pike caught in Indian Lake weighing 26.5 lbs. hangs above one of our tables. Sid Lane of Kingston, New York caught this big guy in 1955 while he was the head engineer involved in paving Route 30 between Indian Lake and Speculator.
